The MHF Series multiple hearth furnaces are engineered for continuous thermal processing of bulk materialsrequiring extended residence times, precise temperature control, and atmospheric isolation. These robust systems are ideal for calcination, oxidation, reduction, pyrolysis, and carbon regeneration across a range of industries including metals, minerals, chemicals, and energy.

Each unit features a vertically stacked series of refractory-lined hearths, through which material moves gradually from top to bottom. Rotating rabble arms distribute and mix the feed on each level, ensuring uniform treatment and controlled flow. This multi-zone design allows for customized temperature gradients and separate atmospheres in each chamber — essential for processing materials sensitive to oxidation or requiring controlled thermal decomposition.

MHF systems are especially suitable for fine particles, sludges, filter cakes, and metal-bearing residues where rotary kilns or flash systems are not viable. They also support off-gas treatment, dust collection, and thermal energy recovery, contributing to sustainable and cost-efficient operation.
