SAC Series – Vertical Sulphuric Acid Pumps

SAC Series vertical chemical pumps are specifically engineered for the safe, reliable, and continuous handling of high-temperature sulphuric acid and oleum in demanding industrial environments. These heavy-duty vertical pumps are ideal for use in fertiliser manufacturing, mineral processing, oil refining, and chemical industries, where acid concentrations between 93% and 99.5% are common.

Built from corrosion-resistant proprietary materials such as Lewmet® nickel-based alloys, SAC pumps operate efficiently at temperatures up to 240°C. The vertical design eliminates the need for a pressurised seal area, enhancing plant safety and reducing the risk of leaks or hazardous exposure.

SAC pumps are available in a variety of industry-standard lengths and shaft configurations, including submerged and external layouts. Their high mechanical integrity and ability to handle high specific gravity fluids make them an industry benchmark for durability, with long service intervals and low maintenance costs even in extreme operating conditions.
