SMD Series – Alumelter Electric Dosing Furnace

The SMD Series is a compact, all-in-one electrically heated crucible furnace designed for melting, holding, and precise dosing of aluminum. Equipped with an advanced dosing unit, it delivers dosing accuracy within ±1%, with shot weights up to 25 kg/Al and melting capacities reaching 275 kg/Al/h.

Thanks to high-efficiency insulation and fully electric operation, the furnace offers low energy consumption and excellent metal quality, especially for sensitive alloys containing sodium, strontium, or high magnesium content.

The SMD furnace integrates digital PID and PLC controls, allowing accurate temperature regulation and customizable pouring speeds. It combines the functionality of melting and dosing in a single unit, offering simplicity and performance in demanding casting environments.
