The CF Series Column Flotation Cells by Minerza are engineered for enhanced separation efficiency and cleaner concentrates in fine particle flotation. Utilizing a counter-current flow of wash water and froth, these cells deliver superior grade and recovery in applications where conventional flotation often struggles.
Unlike mechanical cells, the CF Series features a tall, narrow cylindrical design with no rotating parts. Air is sparged into the lower part of the column through advanced sparging systems, creating fine bubbles that rise through the slurry and selectively attach to hydrophobic particles. Wash water is introduced from the top to displace entrained gangue, yielding a high-purity froth product.
The stable froth zone and longer residence time allow for better phase separation, making these cells ideal for cleaning duties, final concentrate polishing, and upgrading difficult-to-float minerals in base metals, industrial minerals, and phosphate processing.
